Wow! Last night I saw Seether, Breaking Benjamin, and Three Days Grace at the Delta Plex in Grand Rapids. The concert what one of the best I’ve ever been to. I wish I would of took my camera because everyone had a camera but my wife and I. It would of been great to post some pix.
Breaking Benjamin is one of my favorite bands but unfortunately the lead singer (Ben) was feeling under the weather so they filled half their set with a very awesome drum solo, but it went on a bit long. I won’t go into details on Seether, I’m not a huge fan, they were good. Three Days Grace is incredible live, one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen. They are very energetic and really interact good with the crowd.
To me one of the best parts of the show was the opening band Skillet, I’ve never heard of them before last night and they are quite awesome! Their music is very catchy and seems to be right up my alley with what I listen to. Check them out at Skillet.com, very cool stuff.
All in all it was a fun night, my wife and I got to go out and have fun, being parents of two kids and both of us working full time doesn’t leave much time for ourselves. The night was great, the show was great, being with the wife was great. Another awesome moment sketched in my mind
