For about 3 years now I have had a Wacom Graphire for drawing in Photoshop. When I first got it I could never get the hang of using the darn thing so it’s been sitting on my desk collecting dust. When I got into work today I wanted to make some snow to go on top of my logo for the holiday season. I started the traditional way by using a mouse but it just didn’t look natural to me. I decided to dust off my Wacom pen tool and give it a whirl and I was amazed with the results. Because it’s pressure sensitive I was able to make more natural looking snow. If you look around my site you’ll see it’s on my logo and the leaves on the top and the one on the bottom. I was also inspired to write a tutorial on how I made the snow, it’s incredibly simple. Have fun with my first efforts of writing and feel free to leave comments.
